Not often do we venture into national politics, but as they say all politics are local. We wondered how our elected representatives in Washington D.C. we’re following the oath they took when they were elected to their current office. Just so you’ll know, here is the oath they swore to.
The current oath was enacted in 1884:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
The first item of interest we found was this How big bankers profit from food stamps. J.P. Morgan Electronic Services is the biggest food stamp services provider in the country. Along with being the biggest food stamp provider, they are also the biggest donor to the politicians responsible for passing the food stamp law. Imagine that, Wall Street helping to finance Frank Lucas’s campaigns. Frank Lucas chaired the Committee that appropriated funds for the Food stamp program.
The next article of interest we found was this The Okie » Lucas Claims Victory With Latest Farm Bill. Some may call it a victory; we call it a complete lack of leadership. It took three years to pass the bill and what had to be done was it was split into two bills. One for the food stamp program and one for the Agriculture program. When the bill went to the Senate they were combined. At the conference committee held because of the difference in the legislation, the house caved and let them remain as one bill. This is a shining example of poor leadership.

How in the world can Frank Lucas justify the waste of tax payer’s dollars on a trip to Ireland? Doesn’t he realize that junkets like these only add to the national debt, or does he just not care?
So how well did Frank Lucas do on the farm bill, this will tell you he failed miserably FARM BILL ALLOWS FEDS TO SEIZE MONEY FROM CHILDREN FOR OLD DEBTS OF THEIR PARENTS. This is an un-Constitutional act. They are criminalizing the children of farmers and ranchers because their parents left a little debt.
The next article of interest we found was this Frank Lucas (Oklahoma legislator) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. This page has been the most informative page we have found. It goes back to the days when he was first elected to represent District 3 in Oklahoma and continues to his present position as the Representative of District 5. The change in the district was not caused by any move by Mr. Lucas. The loss of population in the state caused the loss of one seat in the House of Representatives.
The next item of interest we found was this Frank Lucas - Frank Lucas: Oklahoma's Congressman. This is his campaign web site for 2016. It can be found at www.frankdlucas.com. We did take a look through the site to see what information was available.
We began going through the web site here About Frank Lucas. What we found here was the typical politician saying what the people want to hear. He claims to be a Conservative politician and to represent Oklahoma values, yet his voting record in Congress averages a 63% on the RINO index. He has consistently voted for the approval of the National Defense Authorization Act that allows the government to lock up any American for as long as they like without due process
The next section we looked at was this Frank's Committees - Frank Lucas. We find it laughable that he takes such pride in being Chairman of the agricultural committee. It only took him 3 years to get a bill passed that decreased the budget by a mere $8 million dollars a year for a ten year period.
The next article of interest we found was this Frank Lucas, Representative for Oklahoma's 3rd Congressional District - GovTrack.us. This page allows you to track Mr. Lucas and a lot of the legislation that has gone through the house. It even indicates that the House of Representatives is considering a bill that would require the President to establish a plan for providing Sub-Saharan Africa to be provided with electricity.
The next article of interest we found was this Frank D. Lucas | Congress.gov | Library of Congress. This we feel is one of the most important articles discovered in our search. This will tell you about most of the legislation that the Congressman has written or sponsored going back to the beginning of his career. It is highly recommended that you open the hyper-link and review it for yourself.
The next article of interest we found was this Oklahoma Rep. Frank Lucas criticized for taking farm subsidies while delaying food stamp renewal | News OK. Although it is considered by us to be a conflict of interest for the Congressman to have passed this part of the bill as a standalone piece of legislation, it should be known that the objection was raised by a Democratic politician many of which refused to compromise on the proposed bill dealing with food stamps.
The next article we found was this Representative Frank Lucas of Oklahoma's Congressional District 3: Voting and Cosponsorship Record, Activity Scorecard, Contac. This article shows that he has a Progressive (Liberal) voting record of 3% while only maintaining a Conservative voting record of 48%. With a voting record like that there is no way he could claim to represent Oklahoma Values.
We next went to www.votesmart.org to see what they had available on the Congressman. We first looked at his Political Summary Page here Frank Lucas' Political Summary - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. Here we found where he voted against the best interest of the United States in an interest that would have prevented foreign companies to buy up American oil and gas.
We next went to the Voting Records page here Frank Lucas' Voting Records - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. This is a complete record of his votes while in Congress. It’s rather lengthy. This document is 31 pages long and covers his entire Congressional career. If you want to know how he voted on something, this is a good place to look.
Lucas Endorsements
The next item of interest we found was this Frank Lucas' Ratings and Endorsements - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. Once again this record covers a good portion off his career. This is another link you’ll want to open for yourself. In it you’ll find that he stands for freedom and personal liberty only about 50% of the time.
We next went to his Campaign Finance records to see what they had available. This is what we found Frank Lucas' Campaign Finances - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart We were surprised to see that he raised in excess of a million dollars for his campaign. A good portion of that came from Agricultural related industries.
We next went to www.followthemoney.org to see what information they had available. They did indicate several personal donations to his campaign, but not many. To put it mildly, he has stopped working for the citizens of Oklahoma and gone to work for the corporate interest of the United States.
We next went to the Issues and Positions page which you can see here Frank Lucas' Issue Positions (Political Courage Test) - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. There is one question on this that he left blank that should scare the hell out of every American. That question is under National Security and simply says “Do you support the targeting suspected terrorist outside of official theatres of conflict?”

So how has he done in protecting the U.S. Constitution and our rights? Judging by the information we’ve provided so far, not very good. What we are about to reveal now shows a complete disregard for the oath he took when he became a Representative and he has disrespected the citizens of Oklahoma and the citizens of the United States.
We are about to introduce you to Congressman Alcee Hastings (D) Fl. This man has been sitting member of the House since 1993. He is also a former Federal Judge that was removed from the bench by impeachment. Based on the Constitution as indicated below, he is not eligible to hold the office he has been in since 1993.
Article 1 Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution states in part:
“Judgement in cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of Honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the party shall be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgement and Punishment according to law.”
We contacted Frank Lucas’s office on three different occasions to see what they were going to do about an unconstitutional person sitting in the House of Representatives. On all three occasions we were informed with the same words, “we’re not going to get involved with that.”
It is because of people like Frank Lucas that the Republican Party lacks the spine to stand up to the Democrats. It’s because of him and his fellow RINO Republicans that we got rid of a cry baby speaker of the house and elected one that’s ready to give away everything they can.
