During the last few months many have turned their attention to the dog and pony show that was the impeachment of President Trump. It goes without saying that many newsworthy stories were overlooked during this time frame. Some people rely on these stories being overlooked at times like this so they simply can get away with a problem that developed, that was not of their own making. Sadly we have such a story tonight. It involves national and state politicians and parties, and stoops to criminal activity on several of the perpetrators. The saddest part of this story is, we offered them a platform from which they could show that they took the laws seriously and had corrected the situation and they chose to remain silent. We can remain silent no longer.

Our interest in this story was created by reading this article when it came in on our news feed. Frankly, we were surprised that this wasn’t covered by any major news organization that we could find a reference on. Now it becomes really disturbing when you look at all the various groups that are listed in the report and realize that many of those same groups are completely in the dark about this money being wrongfully and illegally donated to them. All they need to do is admit to it and take action to rid themselves of the funds.

They’ve already admitted the funds came from a country in the middle east. Why is it that nobody in the Democratic Party wants to be held responsible for their actions. At first, they acted like they were going to act. They requested information and wanted to look into it. After their reaction we gave them the information and informed them that we had the amounts so we could be sure. We even gave them more time so they would have a chance to research and formulate a plan of action. When we were asked to call back, we did, and all of a sudden, no one is answering the phones or returning calls. They must have no intentions of doing the right thing and getting foreign money out of the campaigns for political office.

We then found this report that really makes you wonder what they were trying to do during the alleged impeachment farse. It looks more and more like they were really trying to protect their own than anything else.

It seems like the embarrassment never ends. Just today we find this article on one of the individuals in this scheme that was also used as a witness in the Mueller investigation. It turns out he’s a convicted pedophile. That’s unacceptable.

We must ask what has happened to the Democratic Party? They have spent the last year working on passing partisan legislation that they know will not get pass the Senate and trying to impeach the President of the United States for no provable crimes. Accepting money from foreign governments and then saying that the other party committed a crime by trying to stop corruption is just insane.

For all you Democrats who read this I hope you remember the words of your revered substitute teacher during his first 100 days as president. “elections have consequences, get over it.”

In closing we regrettably must ask that the Oklahoma State Ethics Commission and the Oklahoma Elections Commission take actions to ensure that all foreign moneys donated to all campaigns regardless of political affiliation be routed out and eliminated. We must further request that the Oklahoma Democratic Party and The Campaign for re-election of Congresswoman Horn both be looked at immediately.
