GUBENATORIAL CANDIDATE HYPOCRACY WE CANNOT IGNORE

We became aware of this story through this article 10 Dark Horse Oklahoma Gubernatorial Candidates | The Lost Ogle. From everything we could see on the surface this one candidate appeared to be a good candidate for the office of U.S. Senator. We felt that she should be vetted as are all candidates for office. What we found was disappointing to say the least, but also allowed us to present a clear and distinct hypocrisy of an organization founded with a good cause in mind, but has become corrupt and one sided in its views. Now this article says she is running for Governor however we were unable to find any indication of her having filed for that office. We did find this Search results | FEC indicating a run for the U.S. Senate.
The first article of interest we found was this Constance N. Johnson - Wikipedia. She decided to run for the open U.S. Senate seat in 2014 and won the Democratic primary. She lost the special election to the Republican challenger.
The next article of interest we found was rather shocking. She actually accused the Oklahoma Democratic Party in this article Connie Johnson wonders if OK Democratic Party is “White Supremacy At Work” | The Lost Ogle. We can’t help but ask why do you need to play the race card? All you need to do is look at the history of the Democratic Party and it would tell you. A presidential candidate ran for office as late as 2008 still showing images of the Confederate flag on their campaign literature in the south. She lost by the way. The next article of interest we found was this Former state senator speaks on African-Americans in Oklahoma | News | ocolly.com. Here again we see that she is the lead off speaker on a highly visible and sorely needed event. We must give her a well done for her efforts. She also mentioned she was running for Governor here yet once again we must say we were unable to find any indications of where she has filed any of the necessary paperwork to become eligible to pursue the office.
The next article of interest we found was this Connie Johnson should have run for governor | Red Dirt Report. This article indicates that she should have run for Governor instead of the Senate. They venture as far as to call her a star of the Democratic party.
Some of her ideas haven’t been what people would call main stream. This article Sen. Connie Johnson unveils recreational marijuana petition | KOKH is an example. She was ahead of her time; however the delay may have saved a lot of people a lot of heartache. Recent decisions by the current administration have lifted the hands off policy on states with recreational use of marijuana laws. To put it mildly, the laws are back to where they were before the 1970’s.
The next article of interest we found was this Connie Johnson talks revenue woes, criminal justice reform | News | theadanews.com. We would encourage you to open this link and read the article. We take into consideration that this was a statement made prior to the recent decision on marijuana. She does make a few good points. The Governor has called for a special session of the legislature because they lost $250 million dollars in increased revenue by the courts decision. They aren’t going there to make that up. They are being called back to raise a half a billion dollars in new taxes. Former Senator Johnson says raise the production tax back up to at the minimum 2014 rates. She addressed criminal justice and that is being addressed. She also mentioned hemp. Hemp is a bi-product of marijuana. With the recent decision made by the justice department the only way we could use that to our advantage is to process the hemp for its usefulness and the marijuana for distribution of its non-toxic, non-hallucinogenic medical uses for distribution by the state health department. That would require the Department of Drug Enforcement to collect the plants and process them instead of burning them as they currently do.
The next article of interest we found was this Connie Johnson on the Issues. This gives you an idea as to where she stands in regards to the issues. It is what we have become to expect from Democratic politicians in most cases. She is following the line.
The next article of interest we found was this Black Lives Matter Rally OKC | Gallery | oudaily.com. This is where we begin to have a problem with her candidacy. We can understand the protest of the Tulsa verdict. Many people of all races believe it was unfair and unjust, but doing it with a radical group like Black Lives Matter tends to leave the impression that you are vote pandering and again playing the race card. While it might get you the vote of every African American in the state of Oklahoma, it also cost you votes from the more moderate conservatives in the state. It also opens the door on the biggest little hate group in America.
We also found this article After Tulsa verdict, people gather in OKC to say 'Black Lives Matter' | KOKH. This article goes into more detail about the march in Oklahoma City and the participation of Candidate Connie Johnson.
That brings us to the point of being hypocritical. We found this article Black Lives Matter Is Not a Hate Group | Southern Poverty Law Center. This article shows that the organization had no problem designating White Lives Matter as a Hate Group, or the Family Research Council as a hate group, but they won’t call the Black Lives Matter a hate group even though they have threatened police and are implicated in the murder of several police officers. Their rhetoric has been proven in a federal court to be inflammatory and the main cause for the attack on the Family Research Center a few years back.
The next article we found was this Black Lives Matter Shows Southern Poverty Law Center's Hypocrisy. This is the article that proves it. We urge you to open the link and read it. It’s just devastates their claim of being impartial.
The next article of interest we found was this Homeland Security Chief Johnson: Dallas Shooter Had No Terrorism Ties. This statement left us dumbfounded. The shooter was a member of the Black Lives Matter Movement which is a radical Communist inspired movement and he doesn’t consider it to be a hate crime? That’s idiotic.
Then we found this article BREAKING: Look Who Trump Just Classified a 'TERRORIST GROUP'. This group has been under surveillance since the Obama administration. As has become typical of the lame stream media they have tried to lay the blame on President Trump. What ever happened to journalistic integrity?
It wasn’t just Homeland Security either. We found this article FBI, DHS Officially Classify Antifa Activities As "Domestic Terrorist Violence" | Zero Hedge. Most people think that this group was founded to combat the presidential run of President Trump. They would be horribly incorrect. Antifa has been around since the 1920’s. They were originally founded in Germany as an anti-fascist group. They were founded as the violent extremist arm of the Communist party in Germany. Now they are here in America. Sadly the Democratic Vice-Presidential Nominee’s, in the 2016 elections, own son is a member of this group.
Then we found this article FBI Dumps Southern Poverty Law Center as Hate Crimes Resource - Breitbart. Once again we urge you to open the link and read the article for yourself. This is an article from 2014 from the Family Research Council to the U.S. Justice Department regarding the shooting at their facility and the Southern Poverty Law Centers involvement. It was at that time that the F.B.I. stopped using them as a source for Hate Crime information.
The next article of interest we found was this Police shootings 2016 database - Washington Post. This article contains information that the lame stream media won’t tell you about. It basically delegitimizes the entire argument that the Black Lives Matter organization makes regarding shootings of African Americans by police. It will show you that in actuality whites are killed by police at almost twice the rate as African Americans. This falls into the same false narrative of the disproven Ferguson saying of Hands up don’t shoot. The reason the lame stream media is not telling this story is because it doesn’t fit the narrative of the propaganda they want you to know. Ethics in journalism has died.
We next went to www.votesmart.org to see if they had any additional information on the former candidate for the Senate. We started with her biography page here Constance Johnson's Biography - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. We didn’t find anything new here. We do know that this is a very intelligent lady. We are sorely disappointed that she has allowed race to become part of her politics. We understand its part of her life, but with it being part of her politics, how can we trust her to serve all the people of Oklahoma?
We next went to her voting records page here Constance Johnson's Voting Records - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. She has a spotty voting record at best. There are times she is with the party line in her votes and other times she is completely out of it. During the 2014 session she missed several key votes concerning education but was present to cast a Nay vote against a bill that would allow school districts to offer bonds to finance repairs to schools to correct safety hazards. That same day she was absent for a vote on a repeal of the Common Core State Standards.

There are no ratings or endorsements indicated since 2014. We would urge you to open this link and read it for yourself. She was very successful at making all the special interest groups and the consumers equally upset with her policies.
We next went to the campaign finance report section to see what information they had available here
Constance Johnson's Campaign Finances - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. From what we could tell from this very sketchy report, she did not receive any individual donations to her campaign. All of her campaign funds came from special interest groups, unions and political action committees. That is saying to the people that I work for the special interest and not for the people.
In closing all we can say is she is making some of the right moves to run for a higher office. She is keeping her face in the news. She is also traveling the state and meeting the people. She has made more than her fair share of mistakes. Her support of the Black Lives Matter organization will cause a lot of voters to turn away. We are well aware that she will use the cover of the Southern Poverty Law Center not listing them as a terrorist or hate group as a means to cover that. The Southern Poverty Law Center has lost its credibility under the last administration. Her attempt at using the race card is an indication that she is unwilling to work for all Oklahomans. She is a proud member of the Democratic Party. She should study history a little. She would find that the history of the Democratic Party is hiding its dark past and claiming accomplishments that were achieved under the guidance of the Republican Party. It is our opinion that her display of racial bias makes her unsuitable to hold the office of Governor of the State of Oklahoma.
