WHO IN OKLAHOMA WANT TO SILENCE YOUR VOTE
THE NATIONAL POPULAR VOTE AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT IT

We read a disturbing article the other day by Mr. Jamison Faught of the MuskogeePolitico.com. Even though as recently indicated on Friday the 13th of September of 2019, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg, the most liberal of the 9 Justices, considered doing away with the electoral college was absurd. Now they don’t come out and flat say that they want to give away your vote or even do away of the electoral college, but that’s what in affect what the national popular vote would do. It’s a blatant attempt to give all elections to the liberal east and west coast by saying your representatives on the electoral college must vote for the person running for the Office of the President who receives the most votes regardless of how your state voted.
Quoting from the article “The legislature is very concerned about voter apathy and declining participation. I told them in 2015 that elections need to be meaningful for Oklahomans” says David Van Risseghem, editor of SoonerPolitics.org. It still is today.

We were shocked to see the number of legislators that attended these events on a so called “scholarship.” Quoting the original article “All told, since December 2017, IRPE and the National Popular Vote effort have doled out at least $47,017.53 to bring 8 GOP Senators, 7 GOP Representatives, 7 Democratic Senators, 5 Democratic Representatives and one Democratic legislative staff member to their conferences in Utah, California, Colorado, Massachusetts and New York.
That’s 20% of the GOP caucus and almost a full third of the entire Senate.”
Many of you may ask exactly what is the IRPE. Well the abbreviation stands for the “Institute for Research of Presidential Elections. Now that sounds like a harmless enough group, and if you open this link you will see that they do the research with one thing in mind. That is to make the popular vote for
president mandatory for the Electoral College to all vote for the individual who received the most votes nationwide. This would effectively eliminate the Electoral College.
There is a history of winner takes all in this country. If you open this link you will see that all but three states have a law that it gives the popular vote of the Electoral College from their individual states most popular vote receiver. It is not a part of the Constitution.
In this link here you will find the names of the first three individuals who took that trip. What’s even worse is that two of the individuals filed the required paperwork on the trip late.
Some days later, thanks to an interview with the El Reno Tribune, Baker revealed that Senators Bice, R,OKC and Lonnie Paxton, R, Tuttle and Representative Leslie Osborn, R, Mustang had attended a similar seminar in Utah. These are just some of our elected officials who are trying to give your rights and your vote away. You can find a full list of known individuals by opening this link. The individuals will surprise you. We are going to do a story on each one of these individuals beginning with the most recent.
That is the background that initiated these stories over the last few weeks. We will begin with Representative Marcus McEntire, R, Duncan. His trip was in January of 2019 and was given $2,706.95 to cover the cost. That is not a lot of money to wine and dine your vote away. He sold your vote without you knowing it. That’s disgraceful.

We next went to www.votesmart.org to see if they had any information available. We started with his Biography page located here. We found no significant difference between the two biographies.
We next went to his voting records page located here. This is a list of votes he made that are thought to enhance his standing among the constituents of his district. We will show you a little further on down in this story that many of his most egregious votes were bad for his constituents and bad for the state of Oklahoma.
We next went to the political courage page located here. What we found was a continuing trend among politicians of both parties to not let the political positions of a variety of important matters to not let the people know where he stands on matters important to his constituents and the citizens of Oklahoma. By their failure to answer these questions they no longer feel restrained from telling the voters what they want to hear instead of how the stand on a subject. In short it allows them to pull a con on the voters.

With the percentages listed above this is a very good indication of him being good for businesspeople, but very hard on your wallet. That is why we here in Oklahoma pay some of the highest taxes in the state.

As you look through these scores it is as plain as day that the gentleman is completely Liberal in hat he stands on. We can do better.
We next went this page to see what they had on his campaign finances. The report was provided by www.followthemoney.org. What we found was appalling to us. Almost 25% of is campaign funds came from out of state. He accepted donations from many unions and a vast majority of his donations came from special interest groups. To put it bluntly, he sold the GOP out.

For someone who claims to be a Conservative and campaigns like one, he scored a whopping 16%, those are terrible votes. There are Democratic members of the House with a better record of voting Conservative. We do not recommend that he be given another chance to blatantly running for his position in the House again. Should he decide to run for office again that he run as a Democrat instead of the RINO he is. He shouldn’t be allowed the chance to give your vote for President away.
