ARE OUR CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATES TRULY REPRESENTING THEIR DISTRICTS?

...OR ARE THEY LETTING OUR FREEDOMS EVAPORATE ?

- THE WATCHMAN
We decided to step out of state politics this week because of a story we found as we were going through our news feeds this week. We came across a very interesting article that is or should be a major concern of everyone in the nation, not just Oklahomans. What was put into danger by three of our States House Delegation was the privacy of your family’s medical records. Now wee sent those Representatives to D.C. to work for the people of this state, not to deny them of their rights.
What we found was an article on this amendment that funds a nationwide system for you and your family’s medical records. This proposal has been up for a vote and defeated several times. What we found was that should this bill make it through the Senate, the government will be funding the operation to set in place a nationwide database of each individuals medical records.
While we will concede that having an individual’s medical records would be useful in cases of an emergency, whether that emergency happened close to home or on a vacation or business trip, it would also be another way for identity thieves to gain your personal medical, social security, financial status and your entire world to the thieves. This constitutes a major set back for those of us who like their privacy. We also see this as a waste of taxpayer’s dollars on a project that will only leave everyone in harms way.
By opening the link above, you will see how each House member voted to protect your rights. Rather than you having to do the work, we are going to provide it to you below.
  • Oklahoma 1st District (R) Kevin Hern voted Conservative, No
  • Oklahoma 2nd District (R)Markwayne Mullins, voted Liberal Aye
  • Oklahoma 3rd District (R)Frank Lucas, voted Liberal Aye
  • Oklahoma 4th District (R)Tom Cole, voted Conservative No
  • Oklahoma 5thDistrict(D) Kendra Horn, voted liberal Aye.
What is surprising about these votes? Those three yes votes gave the Democratic who control the House 16.3% of the votes needed to pass this legislation. There was only one surprise in these votes. Rep. Tom Cole voted as a Conservative. It surprised us simply because of his voting record. Normally he would be in favor of spending more money. We thank you for your vote Representative Cole. Representatives Lucas and Mullin have always been liberals. We weren’t sure about Representative Hern, but we must thank him for his vote.
Representative Horn’s vote was expected. This is the woman who worked as a lobbyist while employed by one of our previous Representatives. She ran as being “Tired of partisan politics “and has only voted no on one bill since being elected, and it was a bill she co-sponsored. What a joke she has turned out to be.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST FOR THE CHAIRMAN

A QUESTION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST FOR THE CHAIRMAN OF THE APPROPRIATIONS  AND BUDGET COMMITTEE

THE WATCHMAN

Sometimes people are put into positions of authority that they really either can’t handle or there is a serious conflict of interest. We have found one such individual in the Oklahoma State House of Representatives. Now we don’t know if the charges are certain or the working of a spiteful former spouse. Either way, the House Leadership should have acted to prevent the conflict of interest from happening. This will once again prove to be a poor judgment call of the Speaker of the House.

On January 2, 2019, the Chairman of the Appropriations and Budget Committee was accused of being just over $27,000,00 dollars behind 9n child support. With the case pending inn the Courts, he never should have been allowed to chair the Appropriation and Budget Committee. You can read more about it by opening this link here.

Is Horn Working For Us?

IS SHE WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE?
OR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
The Watchman
We know it’s early to be talking about candidates for the 2020 elections, but because of the circumstances we had to bring to light the incredibly dismal performance of Kendra Horn, (D), 5th District of Oklahoma. We wanted to present this information prior to the 208 elections, but her campaign finance reports were curiously missing from the Federal Election Commission. How she got elected and the sexist attitude of then Oklahoma GOP Chairman at the time, led to a male member of the legislature being disciplined by the party but the female legislature could get away with it. We did a story pointing to this matter a couple of months back.
We were surprised at that time of not being able to see who donated to her campaign. Federal Election and became Commission was void of any campaign records for Congresswoman Horn. That has stalled our investigation in her records.
The first place we looked was at her web page. You can read the page by going here Kendra Horn.
