ANOTHER CAMPAIGN LAW VIOLATION HEADED YOUR WAY?

What brought our attention to this race for Governor and this candidate was this article In Governor's Race, Todd Lamb's Nonprofit Walks a Fine Line | Oklahoma Watch. We had been unaware that he was running a non-profit organization. We felt that it deserved some investigation and we did. The Citizens of Oklahoma and the small business owners of Oklahoma are not going to be happy with what we found.
We started by going to his official biography page at www.ok.gov here Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb - Biography. We note that he has stressed his dedication to the small businesses of the state and to the oil and gas industry. Paying attention to the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma is only natural for any politician, and that's why we are in the financial mess that we are in.
We next went to his campaign page and found this Todd Lamb's Conservative Plan To Renew Oklahoma | Learn More info@votetoddlamb.com. Now he does say all the right words in his plan, but there is no meat on the few bones that he gives the people. His idea of a Conservative Plan appears to be tell the people what they want to hear and do whatever I feel the State Chamber of Commerce wants me to do. He is sorely out of touch with the people.
We are well aware of his covering every county in the state on an annual basis. He claims it's to see what the people need and show concern about the citizens. We don't believe that's what it's for at all. For a low profile politician name and facial recognition is vital for election to an office. We are of the opinion that these are state sponsored and paid for unofficial campaign visits just so people will remember his name when the elections roll around next November of 2018.
The next article of interest we found was this Todd Lamb (politician) - Wikipedia. The only new information we found here was that he was at one time the Secretary of the Oklahoma State Department of Veteran's Affairs under Governor Brad Henry. This raises several questions for us. What were his qualifications to fill that position? He has not indicated any military service. He also served under a Democratic Governor. Was he a Democrat at that time?
The next article of interest we found was this Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb resigns from Gov. Fallin's cabinet | KFOR.com. Don't be mistaken by this resignation. This was a pure political move on his part. He knew that if he had any desire to run as Governor in 2018 he had to distance himself from Governor Fallin's insidious tax everything campaign. Yet he seems to have offered nothing better.
The next article of interest we found was this Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb says he has a vision for Oklahoma | Homepagelatest | tulsaworld.com. In front of the Tulsa Republican Women's Club he basically restated what was in his campaign web site. If that's all he has for a vision for Oklahoma and our children, he's not the man or woman we need filling that position. I'll show you why a little later on in this article.
Then we found this article Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb builds large financial lead in race for Oklahoma governor | Randy Krehbiel | tulsaworld.com. Everybody in the state knew he would run for Governor when Fallin's term was up. He's had a lot of time to collect donations. The Tulsa World makes a fine point here about the large financial lead, however there numbers are a little off. We went to www.followthemoney.org and this is what we found Show Me - FollowTheMoney.org.. Now you want to open that last link. It will indicate that yes there has been many individual donors to his campaign. They are far out spent by special interest groups that are all after something and want to influence the legislature and governor. He may say that he's been fighting for the small businessman, but the big businesses that are the backbone of the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce are the ones that are financing his campaign. You all know they'll want something.
The next article of interest we found was this How Would Todd Lamb Govern? | Oklahoma Watch. This is when there was speculation that Governor Fallin may join President Trump's cabinet. The nation dodged a bullet on that one. Unfortunately the Governor took her disappointment out on the Citizens of Oklahoma. She did it by trying to impose a billion dollars in tax increases on the citizens of this state. Never mind the fact that they hand out over $2 billion dollars a year to those favored few companies that finance their campaigns in the form of tax credits, they put the burden on the citizens.
The next article of interest we found was this Todd Lamb - Ballotpedia. We included this article simply because of the information it contains. It will show you how much he raised for each election, how many votes he received for each election compared to his opponent and the percentage of those votes. To our knowledge no one has ever taken a look at what goes on behind the scenes of his campaigns like we are doing here. So far it's not good.
The next article of interest we found was this Todd Lamb is leaving Mary Fallin… | The Lost Ogle. Now this blog is written by a journalist in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Of all the journalist in the state he is the only one to come out and call Lt. Gov. Lambs resignation from Governor Fallin's cabinet for what it is. A smart political move to distance himself from the Governor's horrendous tax increase measures.
We next went to www.votesmart.org to see what information they had available on the Lt. Governor. We started with the Biography page here Todd Lamb's Biography - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. There was nothing new in this section that we hadn't already found.

We would encourage you to open this link and look at his voting record as a Senator in the State of Oklahoma. Now these votes listed only indicate the votes that make him look good. It makes you question if the information wasn't provided to the Vote Smart organization by him or someone close to him.
We next went to his Ratings and Endorsements Page here Todd Lamb's Ratings and Endorsements - The Voter's Self Defense System - Vote Smart. The last reports are dated in 2010. That was his last date of service as a Senator in the State of Oklahoma. Here is some of what we found.

Folks those numbers are all pro-business and anti-consumer. He shows a total lack of concern for the consumer and the patients. He was in it for himself and nobody else.

The next article of interest we found was this www.okturningpoint.org/files/2414/3861/1592/FINAL_CONFERENCE_PRESENTER_BIOGRAPHY.pdf. If you go to page 7 of this report you'll find the report on Lt. Gov. Lamb. You'll also find a hint as to what direction he intends to take Oklahoma's economy if he should become our next Governor. That's right folks; he intends to grow the oil and gas industry. It's as if he doesn't realize that the oil and gas industry is not enough to pay the states bills. He is as blind to what needs to happen as every politician at the capitol is.
Now it was mentioned at the beginning of this article that Lt. Gov. Lamb was walking a fine line in his campaign with his non-profit organization. We dug around and found that organization here E Foundation. We checked out their home page and found the list of their senior personnel and advisors here E Foundation. This list is top heavy with oil and gas industry people. This just reinforces the belief that the direction that he'll take the state is more oil and gas and more taxes on the citizens.
We next went to this reference guide GuideStar Search. This is a reference guide on charities and nonprofits. We actually did a search and found that they have collected over $633 thousand dollars in donations. At the time of the report they had $157 thousand dollars in the bank. There was no indication as to what was done with the other funds.
The next article of interest we found was this E Foundation. This section discusses their plans. Once again when you get to the energy section of the plan it's primarily the oil and gas industry. When are these politicians going to wake up to the fact that they can't keep over spending on the hope that the oil and gas industry will bail them out. It's high time they looked for other sources of income besides the tax payers.
The next article is actually a piece of advice for all politicians. You can read it here Stop pitching the programs, start pitching the meaning. In case you politicians haven't figured it out we are flat out tired of your lies. We are no longer going to tolerate you campaigning as a conservative and voting as a liberal. We the People are sick and tired of the lies and false promises. Go ahead and vote the way the Governor wishes at your own peril. Elections are right around the corner and we do vote.
In conclusion Todd Lamb has been attempting to establish his Conservative credentials over the last 8 years after having served for 6 years as a moderate in the Oklahoma State Senate. His donations to his campaign have indicated that like most of Oklahoma's politicians he is owned and operated by the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce. Todd Lamb is unfit to serve as Governor of this state. He has presented a false front to the residents of this state for the entire time he's been in office. He is a disgrace to the office he holds and to the State of Oklahoma.
